Entrepreneurship 1 & 2

This year-long course is a Project Based Learning course (PBL). It is also a dual credit college course where students have the opportunity to earn 3 college credits. In this introductory business course, students learn the basics of planning and launching their own successful business. Whether they want to start their own money-making business or create a non-profit to help others, this course helps students develop the core skills they need to be successful. They learn how to develop new business ideas, attract investors, market their business, and manage expenses. Students then build on the business concepts they learned in Entrepreneurship 1 in the 2nd semester. Students continue to explore the different functions of business, while refining their technology and communication skills in speaking, writing, networking, negotiating, and listening. The purpose of this course is to prepare students to launch a small business venture.
